I have two kittens who are into lots and lots of things they shouldnt be! My question is, how do I train them to stay off the furniture and away from the fish tank? I have heard that a quick ****** with a water bottle works well, is this true? or any other training kittens technique?

There allowed on the couch and they have a “safe” room away from the dog that has a big bed there allowed on but what we dont want them on is things like the fishtank stand and the tv stand and places like that where there are a lot of wires. Were also worried that they may try to get at the fish and fall into the tank.
