Cat stopped using litter box?

I have 2 cats, a male and a female, both almost a year old. They’ve both been fixed. The male cat has started pooping all around the house, not just in one spot. I’ve talked to the vet, and the poo looks normal, so I don’t think it’s a health problem. I think it’s a behavior issue. They each have their own litter box, and I clean them twice a day. The male is the dominant one, so I don’t think the female is blocking him. I’ve been using a training aid spray made by Hartz on the spots that he’s pooped on, and he doesn’t go in the same place twice. He’s so sweet, so getting rid of him isn’t an option. Any ideas?

If it hurts or burns, it might be an infection. Try drinking more water and cranberry juice, but in any case I would say, definitely see a health professional about the problem. Man or woman, it's their business. What are they going to do, laugh at you? A little embarrassment is good for you, and your wellbeing is more important.
